Early Signs of Pregnancy

My period hasn’t started yet, and lately, I’ve been feeling queasy a bit too often. Am I pregnant?

While a missed period is one of the most common and earliest signs of pregnancy, it could also have been caused by a number of any other factors. The only way to know for sure is by taking a pregnancy test or consulting a healthcare professional. But until then, you can also watch out for these early pregnancy symptoms:

  • Breast changes
  • Morning sickness
  • Fatigue
  • Mood swings
  • Spotting
  • Frequent urination
  • Food cravings
  • Food and smell aversions
  • Constipation
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Backaches
  • Lower abdominal cramps and bloating
  • Heartburn

These early signs of pregnancy could point you towards the possibility that you may be pregnant. Just keep in mind that these symptoms may also have other causes apart from pregnancy. The best way to confirm is by taking a reliable pregnancy test – multiple ones to be extra sure – and by getting a check-up from your healthcare professional.
