1. Draw lines on a paper bag from the opening of the bags down to the bottom section. This makes a simple template for cutting the bags into strips.
2. Once all the lines are cut, stand up the bag. Then to twist all the cut strips together to create a tree trunk.
3. After the trunk has been twisted, take the smaller sections of the strips and twist them together to create branches.
4. Cut the colored papers in a shape of leaves. Then write on each leaf things that you are grateful for. Lastly, glue the leaves on the branches.
